Explanation: criterion is singular and criteria is plural so in place of is there should are. The verb must agree with the subject. If singular subject is there, there is singular H.V. and in plural subject is there, there is P.H.V.

Explanation: effect is a noun whereas affect is a verb. As per the context of the given sentence, there is requirement of a verb so affected should be used in place of effected.

Explanation: repair is a verb whereas repairs is a noun so as per the context of the sentence, there is requirement of repairs in place of repair.

Explanation: regard is a verb whereas regards is a noun. As per the context of the given sentences, there should be regards.
