Explanation: that type of man in place of “that type of a man”. Here indefinite article “a” is not required.

 

2. Correct Answer:  c)

Explanation: article “a” should not be used. News is an uncountable noun so indefinite article is not required.

 

3. Correct Answer: c)

Explanation: by mistake is an idiom so using article a is of no use.

 

4. Correct Answer: b)

Explanation: had secured in place of secured because there is combination of past indefinite and past perfect.

Explanation: the preposition to is not required after the word tell.
